At our core, foods safety has always been a top priority at Hawaiian Eateries, and one of the most important facets of our manufacturing operation.

From the initial receiving of ingredients, into the production process, and finally to shipping finished products, robust measures are in place to safeguard the integrity and safety of our products, with quality being verified every step of the way.

All of our products are produced in accordance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles that address all reasonably occurring physical, chemical and biological hazards associated with our products and processes.

Quality awareness standards are instilled throughout the entire organizational structure of Hawaiian Eateries. We rigorously train our team members on Sanitation Standard Operational Procedures (SSOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and our Quality Assurance team routinely monitors operations to ensure staff are meeting or exceeding quality expectations.

Frequent pathogen testing is also done within the plant to ensure the highest level of cleanliness is maintained, as well as microbiological testing which is done on finished product by our in-house laboratory. This gives our facility the ability to test finished products prior to shipment, adding another layer of security that the product you receive is within all applicable food safety specifications.

Our product sourcing and approved supplier certification process ensures we only source ingredients from vendors and suppliers who have systems in place to guarantee the highest level of food safety and product quality, and our product traceability programs ensure we are capable of tracking these raw ingredients through the manufacturing process, all the way to the customer.

Ongoing employee training programs are also an area of priority, to ensure our team is well trained in the latest personal and food safety practices.

Our internal programs are designed to match and in most cases, exceed all regulatory requirements of the government and of our customers. We rigorously undergo multiple food safety audits annually, conducted by independent third-party auditors, and are proud to have maintained multiple Food Safety certifications for decades.
